Our role at Capgemini involves regularly creating engaging messaging, providing effective marketing campaigns and supporting with developing winning bid responses. The Environment Agency bid covered each of these three elements.
After five consecutive bid wins in as many year for Capgemini, we were asked to tackle a challenging bid to the Environment Agency.
We created a strong campaign integrating film, key strategic messaging and print literature to form the backbone of their bid.
The bid was successful, netting a lucrative five-year contract. The Environment Agency was so impressed with the campaign that they have now adopted the win theme “positive change” as part of their own ongoing campaign.
Capgemini also gave the bid an internal award for Best Marketing Campaign of the Year.

Their ability to pull together a campaign that captures the essence of what we want to promote is extraordinary, it has set us apart and the campaigns have been used for internal promotion as part of presentations to client Boards, and latterly for induction for new staff members. The internal and external client reaction to the material produced by Thread has caused Board members to stand and applaud the positioning behind the campaign. Thread has become an integral part of our business winning team and I would not consider bidding without them engaged as part of our team. They have definitely given us an edge over our competition
