Knauf is a leading manufacturer of building materials. With headquarters in the UK, the firm is rapidly expanding its global operations in Australia, New Zealand and a number of markets in Asia.
Knauf called upon Thread’s creative and strategic teams to raise its profile internationally. Knauf is somewhat unique in the marketplace as it offers insulation materials that can be installed by homeowners without the need for professional help. The main objectives were to help increase sales through the promotion of DIY, to raise awareness of Knauf Earthwool and ensure that potential customers were informed about how to purchase Knauf products.

THE CUBE
Knauf’s expanding activity meant the time was right to grow its facilities at home in the UK. In acres of countryside in Kent, Knauf’s new ‘Cube’ building is a beacon of modernist style but is also an important new facility for Knauf’s product development and education programmes.

Knauf wanted to put the Cube story to print. Knauf approached Thread’s design team to create a coffee table brochure that would emulate the building’s distinctive style and capture the brand whilst immersing readers in the story of its construction.

Thread created a 39-page brochure, handling all aspects of design and copywriting. The brochure will be circulated among all visitors to Knauf’s new flagship building and will be available in both digital and printed formats.
BRIO PRODUCT LAUNCH
Launching a new product can be difficult – but it is also an exciting challenge.
Thread understands that a new product must be able to both communicate its benefits to the customer as well as stand out from the competition.
When Knauf asked us to launch Brio we were committed to redefining a position for them within the industrial marketplace.
At Thread, we use our ideas and knowledge to help Knauf successfully introduce their new product and deliver a confident message to their target audience.
