Christopher Montrose – A journey to find the ultimate coffee bean

Christopher Montrose is a new supplier of fine coffees. They engaged Thread to help them bring their coffee brand to market.

The concept we settled on was to tell the story of a journey to find the ultimate coffee bean. Not only would the story be compelling, but it would position the brand squarely in the luxury coffee space. We then helped develop this story, including all of the branding, logo design and packaging.

Finding the ultimate coffee bean involved 5,000 tastings which were whittled-down to the top three, which Christopher Montrose now offer at their shops.


They also blend different coffees for different moments, just like a fine wine with different meals.

The story captured like-minded individuals, helping to grow sales across every region. Once people heard about the perfect coffee bean they wanted to try it.
