Echo is a new experiential marketing concept developed by Thread. It uses new holographic projection technologies to bring social media into the shop window, giving customers unparalleled interaction in a real-world environment.
Customers will be able to interact with floating mermaids which look like they’re in a water tank, for example, using hand signals to trigger reactions. By combining this engaging technology with social media connectivity, Echo is designed to inspire shoppers to engage with the brand and share it with their friends. Rather than simply buying something from Harrods, for example, get them to post and engage with the shopping experience.
